2017 is just a couple of days away and we have some steps to improve your kindness game for the new year.
1. Be a good ally.
Be a good listener, volunteer for anybody who needs support, be sensible when you speak and own up to your mistakes.
2. Say hi to an old friend.
Sending a note or a nice text message to someone you haven't kept in touch goes a long way! Even a funny meme that makes them smile would do.
3. Help someone out.
If anyone needs help, be the first to reach out.
4. Get something to take care of.
Get a pet kitten, a desk plant or it could be anything. Just pick something and pump up your responsibility by taking care of it. You will realize that you will be more observant in life.
5. Most importantly, take care of yourself!
Self care is very important to us. Pamper yourself with a good dinner, a holiday and reward yourself. Kindness to yourself is the best way to be kind to others.
