WhatsApp's New Update May Allow You To Revoke Wrong Texts and Embarrassing Messages

This could really help all of us!

Remember that awkward situation when you accidentally sent a text to the wrong person? We're very sure there are a few times that you regret sending a text, but it's already been sent and you wish the other party will never get to read it, ever.

Things might change for the better soon, as some have found that WhatsApp might be rolling out a new feature allowing users to revoke sent texts.

This is how it works:

Just long press on the message that you want to revoke, a few options will then be displayed, including "revoke". Tap the "revoke" option and the message will be deleted.

Of course, you should do it before the other party reads the message. Duh.

It's not clear when this update will be made available to users. In the meantime, double check your messages before you send them.
